Fapex Haul: A minha primeira encomenda na Fapex | My first order from Fapex

Post mais fresquinho não podia haver! Há pouco mais de duas horas recebi a minha encomenda da Fapex.
Encomendei na segunda, dia 3 e foi entregue hoje, dia 6, tal como previsto e informado.
Foi a primeira vez que encomendei algo na Fapex e devo dizer que veio tudo muito bem embalado. Posso até dizer que melhor embalado não podia ter vindo!

Ora então, vamos ver o que encomendei:

Just about 2 hours ago I received my purchase from Fapex.
I ordered the products on Monday, 3/Apr, and it was delivered today, 6/Apr, just as predicted.
This is the first time I ordered from Fapex and I must say that everything came very well packaged. It couldn't have been better!

Claro, a embalagem é comercializada noutro país, portanto veio Elseve, e não Elvive, mas nada de estranho.

The package is sold in a foreign country, so it says Elseve, instead of Elvive, but that's not strange.

REVIEW: Essence - I love TRENDS - The Metals - 24 chrome paradise

O verniz de hoje é da coleção I love TRENDS The METALS da Essence, na cor 24 chrome paradise. Também veio na minha encomenda recente, que podem ver aqui.

Today’s nail polish is from Essence’s I love TRENDS The METALS collection, in the colour 24 chrome paradise. This one was also purchased on my latest haul, as seen here.

Estou um pouco surpreendida com a cor deste verniz. Nas minhas unhas revelou-se ser um tom cinzento, com reflexos verdes e alguns em tons de lilás. Em ambientes com pouca iluminação, os reflexos lilás sobressaem, parecendo até que o verniz é mesmo lilás “acinzentado”. E foram precisamente estes reflexos que me enganaram um pouco ao comprar.

I’m a little surprised with the color of this nail polish. It turned out to be a gray nail polish, with green and some lilac/purple reflections. In low light conditions the purple reflections show a little more, and it even looks like the nail polish is grayish purple. And those were the reflections that mislead me a little when buying.

Como todos os vernizes da Essence, o chrome paradise tem um pincel maravilhoso, e a unha fica rapidamente coberta. 

Com duas camas a unha fica bem coberta. Nas fotografias, todas sob luz natural, não tenho nem topcoat, nem basecoat.

Just like all Essence’s nail polishes, chrome paradise has a wonderful brush and the nail is quickly covered. 

With two coats of nail polish we have a solid colour. I didn’t use topcoat or basecoat.

É um verniz metálico cremoso, como outros da Essence, por isso a consistência do verniz é a ideal. Aplicação fácil, sem problemas, sem precisar de muita limpeza depois.

Tentei captar o melhor possível os diferentes reflexos deste verniz, mas por vezes são tão subtis que se torna difícil.

This is a creamy metallic nail polish, just like others by Essence, so it’s consistency is the ideal one. Easy application, no problems, no mess, no need of much cleaning after.

I tried to capture all the reflections but sometimes they were so subtle, so it was a little hard.

REVIEW: Catrice Liquid Metal Gel Eye Pencil

Hoje vou falar-vos de dois dos produtos que comprei recentemente na @cosmetics e que vos apresentei aqui.

São produtos descontinuados, mas como ainda os poderão encontrar numa loja ou outra, deixo a minha review.

São os lápis delineadores da Catrice (nº 7 da foto abaixo) Liquid Metal Gel Eye Pencil nas cores 040 Leaf The World Behind e 050 Hazel The Hoff.

O lápis 040 é um verde escuro, que em certos ângulos até chega a parecer acinzentado.

O lápis 050 é castanho.

Ambos os lápis têm algum brilho, muito discreto e muito bonito.

Today I will talk about two of the recently purchased products shown here.

I know these products were discontinued, but since you can possibly find them on a few stores, here is my review.

These are Catrice's eyeliners (nr. 7 of the picture below): Liquid Metal Gel Eye Pencil in 040 Leaf The World Behind and 050 Hazel The Hoff.

040 is a dark green, which in some angles looks grayish.

050 is brown.

Both eye pencils have a little shimmer on them, very subtle and very beautiful.

Eu tive uma má experiência com um lápis em gel da Essence e fiquei com algum receio de comprar estes da Catrice quando os vi em promoção. Entretanto vi umas reviews na internet, vi as cores, e arrisquei.

Estes delineadores deslizam na pele. Não repuxam e só precisam de uma passagem para ficar com a cor pretendida.

Deixo aqui algumas fotografias sob diferentes tipos de iluminação.

I've had a bad experience with one of Essence's gel eye pencils and I hesitated a little when I saw these by Catrice with a discount. Meanwhile I searched for a few reviews on the internet, I saw the colours and I decided to buy them.

These eyeliners glide on the skin. No pulling at all and you only need one swipe to get the intended colour.

Nenhum destes dois lápis da Catrice é à prova de água, mas duram muito tempo na pele. Cheguei a experimentar os dois lápis na minha mão e depois de várias lavagens, um banho, e cremes, tive de retirar os riscos com desmaquilhante. A cor esbateu-se de forma uniforme, os brilhos também, mas ainda estava lá.

Não experimentei ainda na linha de água, por isso não posso dizer mais.

É lamentável que estes dois lápis sejam artigos descontinuados. As cores são lindas e a qualidade é excelente!

None of these eye pencils by Catrice are waterproof, but they last for a long time. I even tried them on the back of my hand and after washing them many times, a bath, creams and lotions, I had to remove both swatches with makeup remover. The colour faded evenly, the shimmer did too, but they were still there (faded, but there).

I haven't tried them on the waterline yet, so I can't say any further.

It's very disappointing that both these eye pencils are discontinued products. The colours are beautiful and their quality is excellent!

REVIEW: Verniz Golden Rose 87 Nail polish

O verniz de hoje é um Golden Rose na cor 48.

É o primeiro verniz da Golden Rose que utilizo.

Today's nail polish is Golden Rose, colour 48.

This is the first nail polish from Golden Rose that I use.

Luz natural

Na fotografia tenho duas camadas de verniz. Sem a segunda camada vê-se muito da cor da unha.

Não gostei do pincel. É fino, e é necessário passar várias vezes para cobrir a unha. Com um pincel assim, é muito fácil deixar alguma parte da unha por cobrir com verniz.

I have two coats of nail polish. Without the second coat you see a lot of nail underneath.

I didn't like the brush. It's too thin and I needed to swipe it many times to cover each nail. With a brush like that is very easy to leave some part of the nail without nail polish.

Golden Rose 48

Quanto ao verniz em si, não sei se é só deste em si, com este acabamento, mas é bastante fluido - o que também contribui para que sejam necessárias duas camadas. 

A durabilidade: é terrível. Se não colocar topcoat, começa a desaparecer (nem posso dizer lascar) no próprio dia.

Têm cores lindas, mas a qualidade deixa muito a desejar.

Regarding the nail polish itself, I can't say if it's something that happens only with this one, or with the ones that have this kind of finish, but it has a very liquid formula - which also why I needed to use two coats. 

The durability: terrible. If I don't use a topcoat it starts to vanish (it's not even chipping!) on the very same day I apply it.

They have amazingly gorgeous colours but the quality of this Golden Rose nail polish could benefit of some improvement.

UPDATE (31/03/2017):
Apesar de nas pontas das unhas o verniz estar meio desvanecido, com topcoat dura e muito. Consegui usá-lo com aspeto decente durante um pouco mais de uma semana.

Even though the nail polish disappeared a little bit on the tips of my nails, it lasts quite a lot with topcoat. I managed to use it with a decent look for a little more than a week.

A Weleda é uma marca suíça fundada em 1921, que tem desenvolvido cosméticos à base de produtos naturais. Sempre que possível utilizam culturas biológicas ou de recolha silvestre certificada.

Este tónico capilar revitalizante é um dos produtos mais antigos da Weleda, o que me impressionou bastante ao descobrir.

Contém excelentes ingredientes para promover o crescimento de cabelo forte e saudável e nutrir as raízes, revitalizando o cabelo já existente:

óleo de alecrim, extratos de rábano rusticano e pimenta dos muros

Today I introduce you to a hair tonic that I discovered last year and that I've been using:

Revitalising Hair Tonic by Weleda.

Weleda is a Swiss brand founded in 1921, that has been developing cosmetics based on natural products. Whenever possible Weleda uses products of organic or certified wild gathering origin.

The Revitalising Hair Tonic is one of the oldest products of Weleda, which amazed me when I found out.

It has excellent ingredients in its formulation in order to promote thicker, stronger and healthier hair growth and nourish the roots:

rosemary oil, extracts of stonecrop and horseradish

Não contém conservantes artificiais, nem corantes, óleos minerais ou silicones e o cheiro - que diga-se, é muito agradável - vem única e exclusivamente dos óleos essenciais, ou seja, também não contém perfumes artificiais.

A aplicação do tónico capilar da Weleda é muito simples: aplicam-se algumas gotas no couro cabeludo de manhã e à noite, massajando suavemente para estimular a circulação nesta região.

It does not have mineral oils, silicone, synthetic preservatives, colorants or fragrances. The tonic's wonderful smell originates exclusively from the essential oils. 

Weleda's revitalising tonic is very easy to apply: just put a few drops on the scalp every morning and every night, and gently massage to stimulate circulation on the area.

Even though it has essential oils, the hair won't get greasy, and the tonic won't feel oily on the hands. It dries quickly.

I can say this hair tonic is really effective. In a short period of time it is possible to see new hair growth. You can also see new hair that for some reason had their growth stalled growing faster.
